Brij Bedi, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi's husband passed away at Medanta in Gurgaon today. Brij has been unwell for a few months and was admitted in hospital from last few days.
Bedi, a social activist created awareness against drug addiction among children in Amritsar and other parts of India.
Kiran tied the knot to Brij on March 9, 1972 and have a daughter, Saina.
After his death, Bedi posted a series of tweets paying tributes to her husband. Once a part of Anna Hazare's team, Bedi was the chief ministerial face of the BJP in the 2015 Delhi assembly elections.
