New Delhi:
Six suicidal Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector while infiltrating in a joint operation by Jammu & Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF, a defence spokesman said on Monday.
Director general of Jammu and Kashmir police, Shesh Paul Vaid informed that 5 JeM militants were killed while infiltrating in Dulanja village along the LoC.
The militants were trying to sneak into the Indian side of Line of Control in the wee hours on Monday but the alert security forces foiled their infiltration bid.
Jammu and Kashmir DGP SP Vaid on his twitter handle informed about the operation and death of five militants. While 5 bodies have been recovered, the bod the of the sixth militant was being searched.

He later confirmed the death of the fourth militant and praised security forces for the "good work."
The terrorists were trying to carry out a major suicide attack ahead India’s Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
