Today is World Sleep Day! To all those who would love to get more sleep but don’t have time due to a busy schedule and higher competition. People are sleeping less than they did in the past, and sleep quality have decreased as well but not to forget that proper sleep is essential for a person’s health and wellbeing.

Short sleep duration is one of the strongest risk factors for obesity.

3. Good sleep improves Concentration and Creativity:
Sleep is a perfect dose for your brain to function properly. This includes cognition, concentration, productivity and performance.
It has also been found that sleep improve problem solving skills and enhance memory performance of both children and adults.
4. No or poor sleep can result to Depression:
Poor sleep is directly linked to mental health issues, such as depression. According to reports, 90% of patients with depression complain about sleep quality. Suicide is also somehow linked to poor sleep.
5. Good Immune system with proper sleep:
Change is sleep duration can impair immune function. You will stay healthy and happy only if your immune system works normally and this is possible only if you sleep and sleep for 8 long hours.
