The astronomical event of equinox has been creating a lot of buzz lately.
A viral message associated with equinox is being circulated on social media and the social media users have been responding to it with great concern as well as enthusiasm, greeting everyone with 'Happy Hydrating Days'.
The message appeals its recipients to drink a lot of water for the next 6 days, that is from March 22 to March 28, and give ways to provide protection against heat strokes.

The word ‘equinox’ is derived from Latin and roughly translated as ‘equal night'. On an equinox, day and night are of approximately equal duration all over the planet.
"Intake of fluids must be increased as this time of the year marks the end of winter and the begining of summer. Keeping the body hydrated will help people to maintain circulation and avoid hypertension and skin problems.", said Dr Mukta Varishth, Dietician.
According to Dr. M Wali, "Body takes almost 6-7 days to acclimatize and upto 2 litres of water should be consumed everday".
