New Delhi :

Pakistan showed remarkable fightback against South Africa whom they bowled out for 219 runs. In reply, they scored 119/3 in 27 overs before rain halted play. The last update of the match has gone on 1:50 AM and Pak still need 101 runs to win it.

Match scorecard Pakistan vs South Africa

Morne Morkel has bowled brilliantly for South Africa and has claimed all the three wickets of Pakistan innings. As far as Pak is concerned, its a do or die match for them and a loss could witness them being kicked out of the tournament.

South Africa at the other hand would eye a virtual spot in the semis by winning this encounter as their next match will be against India and could be a hard nut to crack.

South Africa is a strong contender for the title and most of the players of the team are in good touch and they will have an upper hand over relevantly less experienced Pakistani side.
