India would look to extend their lead as much as possible when they take to field on Day 3 of the Wanderers Test in Johannesburg.

After being bowled out for 187 in the first innings, the Indians seamers staged a recovery for the visitors by bowling out the Proteas for 194.

At stumps on Day 2, India were quite well placed at 42 for 1 in their second innings. South Africa struck an early blow with Philander scalping opener Parthiv Patel for 16.
