The 10th edition of the TCS World 10K Run kicked off on Sunday in Bengaluru and once again, it has attracted the best runners from all across the world including Mosinet Geremew, Leonard Patrick Komon and Irene Chepet Cheptai.
Geremew was the 2015 and 2016 men’s champion but this time he will have to face tough competition from Komon of Kenya. Komon was the 10km and 15km world record holder.
As far as women are concerned, all the top contenders are from Kenya including Irene Cheptai, Gladys Chesir and Helah Kiprop. One can expect a great race this year as well but this time the runners will also have to face humidity and heat of Bengaluru.
