The Essential PH-1 has started shipping the smartphones for customers.
A recent tweet from its official handle mentions, “We’re beginning to ship Essential Phone! Please look out for an email today with tracking info. We appreciate everyone’s patience!” The company will send people an e-mail having to track information about the PH-1.
This Essential PH-1 smartphone was unveiled in May and it costs $699.Rubin recently shared pictures of PH-1 in production.According to the reports, it will only ship the glossy black color variant of the PH-1 for now.
The smartphone is seen as a competitor to the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 series devices and the upcoming iPhone 8 this holiday season.Andy Rubin went for the latest smartphone camera technology straight away, with a 13-megapixel dual camera setup on the Essential PH-1. This is coming with the 13-megapixel camera, and the front camera comes with 8-megapixel.
It is powered by a 3040 mAh battery and works on the Android operating system.This also features magnetic sensors to support mods.
