Xiaomi Mi Mix 3: Launch event highlights; Know features and price

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its new flagship Mi Mix 3 in China. The smartphone has the latest 5G capabilities. Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 also has the dual rear and front cameras. The smartphone will be available for buyers in the first quarter of 2019, according the Xiaomi. Meanwhile, both OnePlus and Huawei have announced that they will be launching 5G smartphones next year. Huawei has confirmed that its 5G smartphone will launch in June with a 5G capable Kirin processor.

The most obvious feature of the Mi Mix 3 just like the Mix 2 is the true full-screen design. Mi Mix 3 has the AMOLED display  (2340×1080, 600 NITs) which occupies nearly all of the surface (93.4% screen to body ratio).

1. Display: 6.39-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080) AMOLED with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 403 PPI and93.4% screen-to-body ratio.
2. Processor: Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (4x Kryo 385 Gold cores @ 2.8GHz + 4x Kryo 385 Silver cores @ 1.8GHz)
3. Android Version: MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie
4. RAM: 6GB and 8GB
5. Rear camera: 12MP primary camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixels, f/1.8 aperture, 4-axis OIS and 12MP telephoto camera with Samsung S5K3M3+ sensor, 1.0μm pixels, f/2.4 aperture.
6. Front Camera: 24MP primary camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, 4-in-1 pixel binning to simulate 1.8μm pixels and 2MP depth sensing camera

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost around Rs 34,700. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model will be available at a price of Rs 37,900, while 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will cost Rs 42,200.
