It was recently, Xiaomi confirmed that the two smartphones under Redmi K series i.e. Redmi K 20 and Redmi K 20 Pro will be launched in India on July 17. In the meantime, Flipkart hinted that it will be retailing the two smartphones along with Mi.com. On the other hand, Xiaomi has been busy preparing itself for the launch of its highly-anticipated Redmi K20 series phones in India.
It is to be noted that the Redmi K 20 and Redmi K 20 Pro has already been launched in China. Interestingly, since the launch, the two phones has already seen a lot of demand in the Chinese market and the Xiaomi is expecting to witness similar results in India as well. In a bid to ensure that customers don't have to wait long in flash sales for getting the smartphone, Xiaomi has come up with a new sale strategy in India.
The smartphone maker has announced its Alpha Sale in India for the Redmi K20 series phones. Importantly, the Alpha Sale is the first ever from the company and it expects it to help them deliver the phones faster to the Mi fans and interested buyers before it reaches the market.

Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Pro: Specifications
Both Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will come with 6.39-inch Full HD display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio with no notch present on the screen. The Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 while the Pro variant runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will be equipped with triple camera setup at the back with one being a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with 13 MP and 8 MP camera lens. For selfies, the smartphones will have a 20 MP pop out camera with AI technology.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with fast-charging technology. In the meantime, Weibing has claimed that these phones can be charge 58 % in just 30 minutes and complete charge in 74 minutes. Interestingly, these handsets also can be a good option as it has Game Turbo 2.0 for gaming purposes.
Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Pro: Prices
The India pricing of the two smartphones are yet to be known.
The Redmi K20 Pro was recently launched in China in multiple variants and its price in China is set at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 24,900) for the base variant of 6GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of CNY 2,599 (approx. Rs 25,900), whereas the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 27,900). There is also the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs 29,900) in the Chinese market.
The Redmi K20 price, on the other hand, in China starts at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 19,900) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model are priced at CNY 2,099 (approx. Rs 20,900) and CNY 2,599 (approx. Rs 25,900), respectively.Â
